Coconut Octopus in the Daily Mail

Wetpixel in the news

One of the most photographed creatures on the recent Wetpixel/Alex Mustard Macro Workshop at Lembeh Resort was the charismatic coconut octopus (Amphioctopus marginatus). While we were in Lembeh, Wetpixel Editor Adam Hanlon was approached by the Caters Agency who follow Wetpixel trip’s image feeds, in order to get in contact with workshop participant Paul Rosenblum. His octopus images have now been featured by the UK’s Daily Mail newspaper. Congratulations to Paul.

We fully expect images from this year’s workshops to be featured in the rankings in many of the world’s underwater photography contests too.

In a similar vein, Wetpixel’s field review of the Nikon D500 camera, carried out during the Wetpixel Raja Ampat expedition and Lembeh workshops, has been syndicated by Digital Photography Review.
