At the NAB Show in Las Vegas, LaCie has announced the Rugged Raid Shuttle and 2big RAID drives. The former is available in 8TB of capacity with transfer speeds of up to 250 MB/s in RAID 0 for performance, or as RAID 1 for data redundancy. The connection is via USB-C.

The LaCie 2big RAID desktop drive offers up to 16TB of capacity and offers transfer speeds of up to 440 MB/s and uses a USB-C connection with compatibility including Thunderbolt 3, USB 3.1 Gen. 2 (10Gb/s), and legacy USB 3.0.

TB LaCie Rugged RAID Shuttle will be available in May at a U.S.A. retail price of $529.99, while the LaCie 2big RAID is available this month priced at $419 (4TB), $529 (8TB), and $739 (16TB).
